After eating an awkward dinner with the Barton family, the kids and Mrs. Barton finally left to leave the boy dogs to talk amongst themselves. I should probably leave too but I don't really have anywhere to go nor do I feel like I fit in just yet. Hell it's a good thing my helmet is designed to be like cross between the Dark Knight and Kamen rider X because I would never be able to enjoy dinner with the crew without having to fully take off my helmet. The jaw is a modular piece of titanium gold that can withstand a high impact and can be placed if damaged beyond repair. Anyways the meeting...
"Now before I start this thing, I just want to address the elephant in the room. Just who in the world is that." A finger is being pointed at me as I try to put my jaw back onto my helmet. "Huh? Oh hi I'm Silk Touch, nice to meet you Fury." I wave at Fury before continuing to do my own thing. "You don't have to worry about him Boss, he's a new guy we picked up in Africa. Apparently he's American but he had been helpful to us during our lowest time. He's a good kid." Romanoff speaks on my behalf while I finally finished putting my helmet back together.
"Hmm if you all deem him helpful then I'll begin the meeting." Fury looks around the room before continuing. "Ultron took you folks out of play to buy himself time. My contacts all say he's building something. The amount of Vibranium he made off with, I don't think it's just one thing."
"What about Ultron himself?" Steve looks up at Fury from the doorway.
"He's easy to track, he's everywhere. Guy's multiplying faster than a Catholic rabbit. Still doesn't help us get an angle on any of his plans though."
"Then it's something big. Something that can end the show on one hit." I chime in while receiving the burning stare of Fury. "What? With that many working clones and bodies, he must be building a big weapon. I've seen too many movies where someone like this happened." I walk back into the dinning room to join the circle. I lean up against a wall with my arms crossed.
"Is he still going after the nuclear codes?" Tony ask while throwing some darts at the board. "Yes he is but he's not making any headway." Fury walks over to the table with a drink in his hand. "How? I cracked pentagon's firewall on highschool on a dare."
Fury: "Yeah, well, I contacted our friends at the NEXUS about that."
Rogers: "NEXUS?"
Banner and I: "It's the world internet hub in Oslo, every byte of data flows through there, fastest access on earth."
Barton: "So what'd they say?"
Fury: "He's fixated on the missiles, but the codes are constantly being changed."
Stark: "By whom?"
Fury: "Parties unknown."
Romanoff: "Do we have an ally?"
I let out scoff. "Uh sorry just ignore. I don't want to spoil anything."
Fury seems irritated but continues. "Ultron's got an enemy, that's not the same thing. Still, I'd pay folding money to know who it is." He turns to look at me while emphasing who.
Stark: "I might need to visit Oslo, find our 'unknown'."
Romanoff: "Well, this is good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that."
Fury: "I do, I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everywhere, ears everywhere else. Here we all are, back on earth, with nothing but our wit, and our will to save the world. Ultron says the Avengers are the only thing that stands between him and his mission. And whether or not he admits it, his mission is global destruction. All this, laid in a grave. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard."
Romanoff: "Steve doesn't like that kind of talk."
Rogers: "You know what, Romanoff?" Natasha smiles mischievously at him.
Fury: "So what does he want?"
Me: "To become a real boy."
Rogers: "To become better. Better than us. He keeps building bodies."
Stark: "Person bodies. The human form is inefficient, biologically speaking, we're outmoded. But he keeps coming back to it."
Me: "Like I said, a real boy."
Romanoff: "When you two programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed."
Banner: "They don't need to be protected, they need to evolve. Ultron's going to evolve." My eyes begin to shine just a little bit as an idea popped into my head.
Nick Fury: "How?"
Banner: "Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?"
And with that the meeting came to an end as everyone left to go out their work clothes back on. Well since my work clothes are already packed and ready I decide to clean up the table to do some dishes while waiting for everyone. After a short couple of minutes the trios of assassins got suit up and ready for Korea. "Hey Silk, you're coming with us." Steve called out to me before walking over to talk to Tony. While Clint is still taking with is wife and having one last embrace, I was already done with doing the dishes. I dry myself off with a towel and walking over to the couch to grab my backpack. I head into the jet and strap myself in as I wait for everyone else to arrive.
After a few hours of flying we finally arriving in the South Korean Airspace. I pull on my backpack and my suit begin to shift over on to my body like a blurry mesh. "Just how are you able to do that?" Romanoff looks at my suit with astonishment and curiosity. It's not everyday that someone can put on a suit without needing to change out of their current clothes. Only Stark can do such a thing but his suit comes together in pieces not out of thin air. "Oh just a little magic." I chuckle while walking to the back of the jet with Rogers as we both get ready to jump down on top of a building.
