Kalona had held back from giving birth to the first Wendigo to build up her womb crest energy. Her reasoning was, "Just in case he can't help not playing nice, I'll have at least one strong Wendigo rather than a normal one. It wouldn't be good to add too many Wendigos if they can't play nice after all."
Spring was fully here when Kalona finally gave birth to the first Wendigo. Hopefully, the first of many.
Kalona named him, "Your name will be Atohi. Firstborn of my Wendigo." Then she checked his status.
