I stare at my mom who was busy in her laptop, I been sitting here for over thirty minutes now and she just ignore me, she knows what I want to ask so she pretend to be busy, " mom " I called again
" oh darling am sorry... . just a minute " she give me the fake smile she could produce..
" take your time mom.... Just answer me while you are busy.." She glare at me without a word. " Who is Henley?. "
She stop as I mention the name, I know there is something huge behind the name. I dream about her every day, but I don't know who she's, why I keep seeing her in my dream, I dream about her and a boy who totally look like me.
" Who is Henley? " she said looking at me, I can tell she know something about Henley from the first day I told her about my dream. ' Henley is not a good person' that's what she answer and she cover her mouth regretting why she said that.
" Henry.. They was no Henley and they will never be Henley " she finish and go back to her laptop.
" I will find what secret you are hidden from me and why... Trust me mom " I said as i walk out of her office, I drive back home and went straight to my room.
It's getting dark already, dad will soon be back, I take my shower and went down stairs, the maid make my favorite coffee, and I sit at the couch waiting.
After what seems like an hour, dad came back, he seems to be upset that he ignore me and went up stairs, I calm my self down enjoying every bit of the coffee. Mom came home and we all gather at the dining table.
The maid served everyone, the silent in the room keep growing, dad was upset, mom and I have a little argument, I glare at them before I start eating.
" Dad " I broke the silent. They all look at me like piece of shit. I now understand why khris decide to be away from his parents, I tried to believe that I love my parents but sometimes, am scared of them.
" Am not your dad again henry." Mr James Edward yelled at his son" We are going to be your parents from the day you do what we ask you to do "
" dad, mom I don't understand " I said in confused
" You are getting married " Mr James Edward said " am not asking you to.... I will make everything and the day, You will travel to Paris with your wife to complete your college "
" but dad " I started but he cut me off and walk away.
" Henry " she started but I cut her off.
" don't fucking call me..... " I snap at her " You are here when he said that and you said nothing... "
I walk to the door and stop. " You are never my parents and will never be my parents " I slammed the door and walk to my car.
I drive continuously not knowing were to go, I just want to be far from them.
I stop at a bar, I need to clear my head, after packing, I walk straight into the bar. they are few people here, I took a seat behind and ordered a bottle of vodka.
Why would they force me to get married!!!? They seem scared about something but what?.. I tried to push everything out of my mind. I exhale as I glare at the empty bottle on my table. I finished the bottle Within some minutes.
Sudden they was a terrible pain in my head, everything become odd, I try to stand but I fell off each time I try. My heart beat fast as an image of six years old girl flash to me.
I was standing in middle of no were. my dad and mom are staring at something, I could tell there are both furious. They look at something at my back, I look behind me, there is a little girl and a boy held both there hands, they are not scared by there expression.
" Henry!!!!!! You are disgrace to Edward family, I won't tolerate this anymore, You are living this girl now and here " my dad yelled.
" Mr Edward, am a disgrace why don't you just let me live my life happy without seeing you disgusting face... Am not your child Mr James Edward " The little Henry shout.
" enough talking young man " Mr Edward push Henley making her hit the group harder, he grab little Henry without hesitate, henry scream and struggle but his dad is far stronger than him, little Henley was crying running after them but Mrs Edward push her to the ground each time she reach them.
I couldnt hold the tears in my eyes as I saw everything in trance, am the little henry and that girl was Henley, but who is she that I found it hard to isolate with her, why would Edward family do this to there child.......
The beeping noise come again and my head hurt, my eyelid was heavy but I force it open. I found my self in the hospital, they was bandage on my head, I try to remember what happened but, I remembered nothing.
The doctor walk in as the beeping noise stop. " hey Henry, how are you feeling?"
He ask.
" what happened? ..... Why am I here? " I ask too.
" You just had injury in your head so I fix it.... Gladly your parents did a nice job bringing you here in time "
" So... You make that dream disappear don't you? "
The doctor frown in confusion " You had a dream like memory? "
" Yes I guess that's why my parents brought me here "
" listen Henry.... I knew they erase a memory from you when I scan your head... I ask them if they do that to you but " a voice cut him up
" don't worry doc.... " Mr James Edward said as he walk in with Mrs Edward behind him " You done a great job waking him up and feeding him with your lie's.... But remember who I am in Washington... You love your wife and your little school girl sara "
" please Edward..... I love my family... Am sorry please "
" silence " Mr James Edward shout.
" Oh henry... How are you feeling now!? " mom ask.
" mom.. " I started my voice cracking
" Why are you so cruel to me, I didn't do anything wrong mom "
" honey... You won't understand.. We are trying our best to make you happy Henry.... You can't run and live us as your brother did, You are all we have and we can not afford to loose you to"
" why do You have to erase a memory in me to keep me happy mom.... You are hidden something from me, why mom"
" enough Henry.. We are going home now " dad yelled as two huge guys walk in and take me off the bed.
" please take it easy on him " I heard my mom saying but they ignore her, they only work for my father and only him can control them.
I heard the doctor begging my dad but my dad stop him, he must pay for what he just said. I was doubting about the dream but now everything is obvious, I need to find out why they do what they did, and to find henley most of all to know what connection do we have.......
