Travis heaved a sigh of relief when he managed to get Phoebe through her critical period. He and dr Lizzy have also stopped the bleeding and made sure that the baby is safe.
"I'll tell her friend," said Dr. Lizzy, then walked out of the ER while Travis was still there with some of the nurses.
Silently, Travis looked at Phoebe sadly then took her soft hand. That hand, he even missed because he had not touched it in a long time. He bent down, kissed his lover's forehead then kissed the back of her hand.
"Honey, hold on...You have to explain to me who the father of the baby is," he said, glancing at Phoebe's bloated belly covered in a blue blanket. He turned to the nurse. "please move her to the best room."
"Okay, doc," said the nurse.
Travis glanced back at Phoebe, looked down and kissed her cheek then walked out of the room.
