Zhou Liying parked her bike at a little distance from the lake. She walked toward the man made lake and took her seat on one of the stones. "Beautiful."
She looked in the clear water of the lake which was reflecting the stars in the sky. The lake looked beautiful. It was masterpiece indeed. Now she knew, why government so wanted to develop the area around this lake into a city.
This lake was going to be an attraction for others to move in here. This lake was going to be a profit earner.
This lake was used to be a part of hydropower plants. The government closed the plant a few years back. They were demolished and the area around the lake was cleaned.
With time, trees and bushes grew near the lake, making it a famous picnic spot among the citizens. For now, this lake was used for swimming, boating and many other water activities.
