Zhou Liying closed her eyes, imagining herself as someone else, someone who had a man to rely upon. She imagined herself to be a weak lady, a lady dependent on someone else and that someone else was Mu Yuehan.
"Why are you so good to me?" she mumbled and inhaled his spiky, woody smell mixed with his macular smell.
Mu Yuehan smiled. He did not answer her. He kept running his fingers in her hair.
"You should go. What if someone comes in? They will get the wrong idea." Zhou Liying tried to push him away but he kept his arms wrapped around her.
"No one will come, trust me. It's raining and is dark. Anyone will be a fool to come at this hour. So, relax. Now try to sleep." Mu Yuehan again pulled her on his chest.
Zhou Liying sighed and let sleep take over her senses. She was feeling tired and was in a dire need of sleep.
