Xenia stood proud as she held her head up high. She had just declared her allegiance to Cordon in all but name, and the adoration of her new subjects almost made her want to smile bright with happiness and acceptance. However, the ceremony wasn't over, which meant that she still had to put up appearances.
'How long do I have to hold this pose?' she thought with a quiet sigh. 'This feels so awkward!' Despite the awkwardness, she couldn't stop herself from inwardly smiling.
