Clara was all but willing to surrender to Gilas's advances when he suddenly stopped. Almost surprised, she opened her eyes, only to gulp when she saw him staring at her intently.

Her wolf's words rang firm and true in her head, but she didn't dare to admit or even comment about them at the moment. She knew she had no energy to reject Gilas right now, and doing so would only make her look more stupid to her ever teasing wolf.
"Clara, you're mine…" Gilas firmly murmured, his gaze burning into her with so much desire that she could feel it right through their Mate Bond.
