Bells came running down the hall with David right behind her, but they both came to an abrupt halt when she saw her older sister standing between two males who were very clearly vampires. They had the black eyes and the unnaturally rigid stances like their muscles were already in rigor. That was until they moved, quite surprisingly.
"Oh," Bells said. "Hi."
David came up next her, inflating himself as much as a wolf could in the midst of creatures far deadlier than himself.
