Chapter 94 - Innocent

"I don't know how to do any of this," Sage whispered against her, rolling his forehead against hers. 

"Neither do I," she said, not sure what he was talking about exactly. But regardless, she didn't know how to do it. 

"What do you mean?" He pulled his head back and studied her—the deep brown of her eyes and the flush of her cheeks and the shallow breaths she was taking like she was holding some of her breath back from him, not wishing to share.

"What do YOU mean?" She repeated, chuckling despite the heat that had flared out in wings across her chest at his closeness.

A crooked smile spread on his face at how she seemed shy all of the sudden, but then he returned to his thoughts and the smile slowly faded. 

"I don't know how to be with you around everyone else. What if I can't?" he grimaced, and she saw the tension in his jaw and forehead—the scenarios that he was imagining. "I just don't know how to share you."
