"How did you get here so fast?" Selah asked her brother when she climbed down from the lookout after Finn.
Rather than reply, Sage grabbed her arm and pulled her some distance away where no other wolves would hear their conversation. Everyone was distracted with what was happening at the perimeter anyway, but Gia hung back, waiting for Sage to take the lead in speaking with Selah and staying nearby in case he needed her.
"Did you do this?" Sage hissed. It was an accusation he never thought he would be making.
Selah's brows pinched together. "Did I do what?"
"This," he threw a hand in the direction of where all the commotion was.
"What are you asking me?" She growled back, pulling out of his grasp.
"We know you spoke with Eliade at some point, Selah. That you gave them information about the pack. Do you deny that?"
"We?" She frowned, glancing toward Gia before dragging her gaze back to her brother.
