Chapter 260 - Prisoner

Zagan lifted Eliade's lead researcher over his shoulder. He preferred Peter this way—unconscious without that smug look on his face. If the guy didn't have important information that they needed to get from him, Zagan wouldn't mind having Penelope portal them to the nearest cliff so that he could toss Peter over.

"Ready?" Penelope asked, looking at her mate carefully. 

This was dangerous. She wasn't sure it was the right thing—but they had to decide one way or the other now. They couldn't leave Peter here in the lab in case someone stumbled upon him if there was a chance that Graeme and August would want to interrogate him after all. 

But the fact that they were sealing Peter's fate—it wasn't something to be taken lightly either. This man was going to die at the hands of wolves. After everything that he had done all of these years, he very much deserved it. But it still made her uncomfortable, because she was the one making the decision.
