Cora's cheeks turned red with Marcella's observation, exposing the blood even more obviously that coursed in her veins.
"Do you know that he is interested in you? Because I can assure you that it is obvious to everyone else," the woman said.
"I was not aware of it," Cora said quietly, unsure of how to react. Everyone was staring at her and Grayson now, and Rayth remained still and silent at her side. Not even Ambrosia was venturing any input at the moment.
"Does that bother you, Rayth?" Marcella asked, her amusement clear.
"You are just trying to stir up drama and distract from the point, Marcella," Ambrosia finally said. "Everyone who meets her is either struck by her youth or her power."
