Zagan threw some pants Theo's way before he went looking for supplies to clean the gunshot wound.
"Would you like me to call someone?" He asked. He wasn't sure why he did, because he didn't have a phone. But it seemed like the right thing to do since he had shot this lost stranger out in the woods.
"Naw," Theo said gruffly, "that's okay."
Who would he call other than his parents? Actually, if he could get his parents down here, that would be something. They would definitely know how to break this enchantment.
"Don't see many folks out this way," Zagan said.
"You live out here long?" Theo asked, looking around the cabin. It was tidy and simple. There wasn't much to it.
