"She opened a portal?" Zane whispered in disbelief while he and his mother sat visiting in the dining room area of their palace wing. Cora had not gone down to dinner, which meant that they were also excused. Ambrosia truly had no interest in anyone else in Cora's family except Cora herself—and her pet of course. So Penelope and Zane were munching on snacks from the kitchen. "Where did she open it to?"
"I don't know," Penelope shrugged. "I'm assuming to his pack's land."
"But how can she do that if she's never been there?" Zane frowned. "I thought you had to have at least been there. How can you collapse space without a clear indication of where it is you're going?"
Penelope sighed. "With Cora, who knows. She continues to do a lot that I have never seen before."
