"Yes, I am alyko," she smiled softly. "I have never met a lycan before, though. I mean... a lycan who turns into a wolf. I would have never asked this to be done to you. How did you even get here?"
Theo felt the calming sensation of being this close to her and hearing her voice… they were having a regular conversation, for Goddess sake. He was next to his mate. It didn't even matter that he had these damn things on his wrists. Just being able to be this close to her without the threat of someone finding them and tearing her away again was a massive relief.
"I found the portal here. It was on the blood moon," he said, not saying the rest… that he had sensed her. That he had sought her out. That he had come here for her and her alone. That he had been searching for her for years now.
"And you didn't immediately run back home?" Cora chuckled softly. Honestly, it wasn't funny. He had obviously gotten himself into quite the predicament by exploring this place.
