Once final goodbyes were made, Penelope and Theo watched as Sage opened a portal right there in the palace tower and walked with Gia back onto the pack land that was Theo's home.
It was so tempting to just follow behind them. His home was right there, a few steps away rather than across the white forest that he had run through with vampires on his tail to get here. His parents were right on the other side.
Once the portal closed and they were alone in the tower again, Theo glanced back at Penelope.
"Alyko abilities are amazing," he chuckled and ran a hand down his face.
