"And you don't fucking call that a date? You were all alone with him. You were laughing around and flirting with him. That wasn't a date?!" Lexus glared at her.
'I wasn't flirting with him,' but saying that would only make her look more defensive.
"Lexus, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to be like that. I swear we only talked about random things or his life abroad and his tours. We didn't speak about romance at all," Anna apologized since she realized that she may have indeed been wrong.
She also didn't want him to make him even angrier. What if he hurt her if he lost it? He was so much larger than her. It would be easy for him to break a bone or two.
Anna flinched when he held her wrist and waved her hand in front of her face. He showed her empty ring finger.
"You had to remove your ring while you met with him?!"
He seethed when he noticed that she tried to back away from him because she was scared he would hurt her.
