"I'm so sorry," Anna embraced Lexus tightly when he hugged her. She didn't know anything about him and yet she insisted to come to this island all on her own. And now, she even insisted on joining a reunion he clearly did not want to attend just because she thought he was hiding something from her.
Now she learned in such a manner why he didn't want her to know about it, why he didn't say that they should not go to this place.
Judging by his facial expressions at the reunion, it was clear that he would rather not be reminded of his past here.
And yet, she brought them here on the last trip of their honeymoon. Unknowingly, she had a blast without him having fun as well.
If she had observed him closer, if she had been considerate enough, she would have noticed that something was off.
Now she made him recall all those painful memories.
