Fifteen minutes before five, Lexus was already at the parking lot waiting for Anna. Minutes passed by and Lexus watched as Anna's coworkers passed by. He wondered if Anna had some overtime work to do. He hated the idea. She was pregnant and she shouldn't be working too much. Lexus was once again tempted to acquire the company.
By five-thirty, Anna was still not there, he decided to check on her in the office. He had memorized her officemates and all of them had already left. It would be dangerous for Anna to be alone so he decided to wait right outside her door.
But when Lexus went to her department, it was already closed and everything was locked.
'Did she go somewhere? Or perhaps they had a meeting outside and she forgot to inform me?' Lexus thought.
