"Should we drop you home?" Elena asked since Anna was so tipsy. She might not make it home on her own.
"No. It's alright. Someone's going to pick up. Just help me to go outside," Anna glanced at the exit which suddenly seemed so far away.
'It's been too long since I had liquor. I was too busy that I forgot I used to drink a lot. Now, I get drunk so easily,' Anna sighed.
Thankfully, her friends were around. They understood that since she's a mother now, she clearly didn't go out drinking.
'What would I tell Lexus? He would hate the idea of me working here even more now that this happened right on the first day.'
What if Lexus would think that she was a bad mother to Nigel for getting drunk like this when she had a son waiting at home?
'He wouldn't go looking for a new mom for Nigel right?!'
Anna was beginning to panic about how her husband would react. She's not that drunk yet but she was to tipsy to the point she needed assistance.
