"What's wrong? Who was it?" Lexus followed her with his gaze as she returned to the living room after answering a call.
Anna was rather surprised when she received a call from the HR of her former workplace. She didn't know why they were calling her so she went somewhere Lexus couldn't hear just to answer it.
"Uhm, nothing," she smiled awkwardly and looked away. She wasn't sure how to say it.
"Then why do you look like that?" her husband walked to her and cupped her face so she would look at him in the eye.
"Uhm, the HR from my former workplace called. They were asking me if I could work there for a bit," Anna said in a low voice.
"What do you mean? You already have work, right?" her hubby frowned.
Anna had to explain. She learned that Director Nam had been transferred to another branch after she resigned. Someone called Director Lim replaced him and had been working diligently as the new director for more than three years now.
