Anna slept soundly and woke up early in the morning. She found Lexus and Nigel still asleep beside her.
It was such a sight to see Lexus still asleep when it was already five in the morning.
'Geez. Did he overwork himself again?' she did recall him saying he did all his work for the following week so that he could be with them.
'He didn't have to go that far. He could have just done his work as usual. Nigel and I would be fine as long as he comes home at night.'
Anna caressed Nigel and Lexus' hair. She fixed their hair a bit before taking more snapshots of them since they simply looked so cute together.
It wasn't so bad waking up like this in the morning.
She was about to leave the bed when Nigel stirred.
"Mommy?" was his question before even opening his eyes. He searched the space beside him and went back to sleep when he felt that she was still there.
