Chapter 4 - "It's.. not here"

In such a big cave there were six people, two male teenagers at the side about to walk in another cave and one already left for a different cave.. which leaves us with three people left, one male two female. One of the girls was holding the other's hand tightly, nervous and is trying her best to say the right words. As the other one looked at her while she was having a hard time on finding the right words to talk to her. Last but not the least is the only man, he was standing Infront of the both of them quite confused.

As he stared at them, he could only look at them with a hint of confusion on his face while both girls conversed with each other. As Ezumi could no longer wait for what they had to say, he raised his voice a little louder and said "Excuse me but if there is nothing you want to tell me, can I leave now? I'm racing with time here." As soon as he finished what he was saying, both Mei and Hima looked at him. Hima then said "ah, yes! of course you can leave... ahaha" she said this as she was getting caught up by the mood of the three of them, realizing she had unconsciously said this, she let out a quiet gasp and covered her mouth. It was here when she realized that this person Infront of her might get suspicious of her, at the last minute she quickly said "Oh!- what I meant was-..." before she was cut off by Mei who said "ah, but-... Kagome are you not going to team up with us?" Mei expected something nice to come out of Ezumi's mouth but before she could think of words that he could have said fifty-fifty percent of a chance, she immediately got a cold answer from him. Ezumi or should I say "Kagome", said "I appreciate the both of you teaming up with me but I prefer to be alone rather than to be with others... I'll be leaving first" he turned around waved goodbye and left.

After Ezumi waved them goodbye. He then walked in one of the caves, the one he walked in was at least the smallest and darkest one, he clenched his hand as he thought 'there are no souls in neither of these caves, so I guess this place is isolated...' he thought quite disappointed and thought again 'if I ever get caught up between those two... i doubt I'll finish my task sooner or later' he sighed, as he was walking the walls beside him was rapidly getting smaller and smaller the deeper he goes in, suddenly the rapid Smalling of the walls stopped by a space he could still stretch out his arms by an inch, then suddenly he caught a presence in front of him. Ezumi looked up, it was a barrier, he stepped back a few steps and thought 'huh?... what is a barrier doing here?.. Is there anything even behind thi-' before he could think of another word, his arm was sucked in the barrier, "agh!-" Ezumi shouted as he himself was fully sucked in by its force.

"huh?... so a newbie actually found the exit?.. without a kill?? HaHa!" a red haired girl said. She looked like she was a seventeen to a nineteen year old. Beside her was a black bunny with two white dots on it's ear, a small one and a big one, it looked at Ezumi as if it had seen a lettuce. Another then said "Hmm... besides finding the exit and coming here... tell me, why did you lie to the arcane master??" she said looking at Ezumi with one eye brow raised up. Both of them had quite the same features red head and purple eyes but only their attitudes were different.

Ezumi was a bit confused and shocked as he said "what do you even mean?.. " as he looked at her with a confused face. She suddenly said "You know what you did.. your element isn't a wind element is it?, infact is it even-" before she stopped as if she remembered something, then continued "ah- I mean why did you say your a wind elemental?.." As Ezumi heard this, he remembered something, that's right, the Sorcerer that held his hand might have been their highest ranking sorcerer.. he might have also felt another presence besides wind element. The magic that he had since then... was it really that easy to find?... even if it's locked at that time?. He thought 'argh... did he still manage to catch that presence...?' he sighed quietly and said "no I haven't been lying at all, it's true that I'm a wind elemental..." and stood up while he slapped the dust off of his clothes.

Suddenly someone said "It's nice for you and saki to meet someone so soon, Aki, but don't you think this is a first?.. someone actually found this place even if the entrance was locked up by an illusion barrier, an expert type barrier at that, and he actually managed to get past those water spirits? or were the beasts already taken care of before they arrived?" As this was heard by them someone came out from another room and asked them again "did any of the two of you see the droplet cave before the grand master transported them?" and opened a drawer while he tried looking for something and opened the next one to see if what he was searching for is in it.

"I didn't see the inside of the droplet cave earlier before they arrived, but I swear there were beasts in there before I left last night..." Aki stopped talking and thought for a bit, before she said "on second thought do beasts hide when they're scared? or maybe if they're defensive?" she said as she looked at him, still struggling to find what he was looking for.

Saki looked at him with a confused look and tilted her head as she held her bunny in her hands, she said "Rimitsu, if your looking for your glasses then it's at the bottom-left side of the second drawer." Rimitsu then checked the second drawer and still his glasses was not there "it's.. not here." he said as he looked at Aki, he said "Aki, Saki, please inform the grand master I'll be leaving for a bit, if he asks why, tell him it's something important." both of them put on a serious look. Aki said "right I'll.." before she was cut off by Saki who said " And... what if he'll ask again?? do you expect for him to leave it be? you know he's not like that." Rimitsu stopped on his tracks, knowing the high ranking sorcerer of their school, of course he wasn't the type to leave a problem be.

As he was walking towards the door he said in a serious tone "then so be it.. it can't be helped. if the master wants to help then let him, but I've already said this; don't let him know the reason why I'm gone.. okay? I'm leaving" he opened the door and as he went out he slowly closed it.
