The Loyalist Alliance made their exit led by Stephan, reducing the tension between the factions. However, the bad blood between Alpha Conri and Alpha Adolphus still did not cease as they stared down at each other, with their members bracing for a possible clash and gripping their weapons tightly.
Cailean could not help herself but swallow a huge lump in her throat at the intensity in the eyes of the two Alphas, still trying to bottle up their bloodlust toward each other.
After a few moments of staring down, Alpha Adolphus was the first one to break his eyes away and walked away from them. His Beta looked at the confusion on the sudden softness that was shown by his superior and looked at Alpha Conri, bragging and trying to cover him up.
"You are lucky!" He exclaimed to them, raising, and pointing the weapon towards them, "My Alpha showed mercy. We won't show anything to all of you next time."
