Alexander looked at Riddle with a flustered expression from the words that he shot against him. His lust for Cailean had subsided and he focused on the enemy in his eyes; an ally that was supposed to side with him for a long time. The standoff continued for a few moments until the others came. Alpha Conri wondered what the commotion was, and they were all aiming their weapons at each other.
"What the hell happened here?" Alpha Conri took a look at their hostile expressions to each other as if Lance, Camus, Spade, and he were not there, until he used a mind link to Cailean, asking the same question. The woman turned to look at him, putting down her bow and holding her head in confusion.
"What kind of trick is this?" She said telepathically to Alpha Conri, in a rush.
"It is a skill of mine," the Alpha briefly explained to her, "What exactly is happening here? Why are you all aiming at each other?"
