Chapter 51 - 017  Revenge Gust

In the early morning, Benjamin's truck covered with mud left Anderson's house and headed for Porto North. On the way, two confused hunters were left behind.

The hunter's attention to the Anderson house had been erased from the fictional memory of the vampire's enchanting pupil. In the memory of the two hunters, there was no blood bank stored by vampires in Anderson's house, there was no hair shed by werewolves in the straw of the warehouse, and the eccentric old man was not abnormally alert. This was just an ordinary funeral business.

Ryan and Benjamin both realized that their life in Anderson's house was too comfortable.

After a night's rest, Benjamin's face was still not very good. The old radio was able to escape the ravages of this round. They sat quietly in the car and arrived at Porto Mercy Hospital. But they didn't go in. In order to take care of patients with mobility difficulties, the hospital would hang a mirror at the corner of the turn. Ryan, the vampire, would be easily exposed there.

When James got out of the hospital and got into the car, Benjamin started the truck again and drove away from the hospital.

James called near midnight last night. Ryan breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that James was all right.

"How's it going?" Ryan looked sideways at James sitting in the back seat. The young detective was wearing a high collar coat to cover the mark on his neck. There was gauze on his chin.

"Vital signs have stabilized..."

"That's not what I asked." The vampire interrupted James: "have you explained your identity?"

James frowned. The coldness of the vampire made James uncomfortable. However, in the phone, the two sides had exchanged their experiences last night. James can understand the coldness of vampires.

"I explained it according to our previous discussion." James hung his eyes. "The monster who wanted to kill me has been killed by me. I am now investigating other possible monsters in Porto."

Ryan nodded. "Does he trust you?"

"The purpose of taking him to the hospital is to make him trust." James said coldly that he didn't feel well at this moment. Because what he just said was told by Ryan after he solved the shapeshifter.

Until he was attacked by hunters, James didn't think he would follow Ryan's 'instructions', so he didn't heed Anthony's advice. After meeting Ryan,Benjamin and Kim, James still had a little fantasy about the 'Hunter'. And this fantasy ended last night.

Please understand that James didn't know that there were these supernatural aliens in this world before his life, let alone hunters! James was groping for ways to get along with these 'people' who seem to emerge from the new world.

"What is your report to the police?" Ryan asked. Any hospital has the obligation to call the police when it accepts patients with gunshot wounds. As a detective, James will certainly not stop it. In fact, this was for James to show that he had nothing to hide. That was, James talked about winning the trust of the other party.

"Louise." James took a few deep breaths. He didn't like lying . But last night, he told too many lies, "Louise was robbed. The prisoner took my gun in the fight and shot the helper."

"Did Louise come up with this story?" Ryan smiled. "Where is she?"

"I don't know. After taking a statement at the police station, she left." James shook his head and seemed to think of something: "I thought she was always with you."

Ryan's face returned to coldness: "she left. Why did she go to your place yesterday?"

"I don't know. She didn't say." James frowned. He didn't even say a word of thanks to the woman who suddenly appeared and saved his life!

Ryan was silent for a while, shook his head, and continued to say to James, "Anthony said that you should investigate the identity of the hunter. Don't investigate. I made it clear last night."

"I have found it." James leaned against the window. This was the result of his running all afternoon yesterday. The information about the Indian hunters who attacked him was recorded on the information pierced by the steel needle.

Ryan took a look at James. The general's son is still very reliable. Last night's encounter caught everyone by surprise. No one expected that the hunter's action would be so fierce.

"James, don't touch them." Thanks for what happened last night. Now James should seriously consider this proposal. Ryan looked at the detective in the back seat. "I know you still have some illusions about hunters. Now, this fantasy can be discarded. They are a group of dangerous people."

"I know." James didn't want to see vampires. He stared at the retreating scenery outside the window deliberately.

People who are not dangerous will not hide in other people's homes with crossbows that can penetrate the iron gate and sneak into their masters. People who are not dangerous will not use the heating channel to confuse people half the street. This is the reason why no one reacted to the gunshot when James encountered the ghoul.

"Now, he will think that you and he are the same kind of people, driven by revenge. You must draw a line with him!" Ryan was not alarmist. The hunter's recruitment method is to find people who have been hurt by other races, and use hatred to drive people to a completely different route from ordinary life.

Of course, there is another reason why Ryan meant this. Everyone will soon know. Don't worry.

James frowned more tightly. The son of the general didn't like vampires to preach to him, "don't tell me, I know! Where are we going now?" James noticed the surrounding environment. The street was separated by red and white barricades, the floor tiles were turned up, and the soil was piled on the roadside. It was obvious that the street was under construction.

Benjamin found a fast-food restaurant, stopped the car and waved his head: "you can get off."

"What?" James looked up in the back seat. "What is this place, is it [Becky Street]? It's ten blocks away from where I live!"

"Get out of the car, James." Ryan leaned back in his chair and rubbed his eyes. "At least we found you a place to eat breakfast."

James reluctantly pushed the door open, watched the truck continue to move forward, and frowned. If he remembered correctly, the front was [Ript high school]. What were they doing there? This doubt was soon driven away by hunger and fatigue. James' last meal was when he sent Curson home yesterday. Mrs. Curson habitually gave him biscuits. Obviously, Mrs. Curson still retained James' impression of 'overeating'. After that, James ran around Porto to investigate the identity of the Indians who had entered Porto in recent days. When he got home, he was attacked. Then he went to the policestation with Louise to receive a confession (lying), waited for the Indian to undergo surgery, clarify his identity (lying), and met with vampires and werewolves until now.

James opened the door of the fast-food restaurant, decided to have a good meal, and then went home to catch up on his sleep.

It's time to tell you what James did yesterday afternoon. The name of the Indian hunter lying in the ward is Ravenge Gust. He was not from Porto, but his parents lived in Porto. He also had a younger brother. Oh, no, he once had a younger brother.
