Adam knew his mother is dead but he didn't want to believe that he constantly started to push his mother trying to wake her up when he noticed that the gold from her mother's arm was gone he knew what he did, and he retracted the gold from her body.
The problem was he didn't know how he did it he holds her mother and closes his eyes trying to concentrate to retract the gold thinking that she would wake up knowing full well she wouldn't. All the gold in her body retracted he still tries to wake her up but after a bit, he finally gave up and realised that his 'Hope' will never come back.
2 days later, he was still sitting beside his mother thinking about what he should do he wanted to go but he can't leave her body alone though he understands something his powers were not like 'Midas' because he could manipulate the gold to make something like a box or hammer.
'I am done now, let me take you now your son will bury you today.' says Adam for the past 2 days he was also practising with his body he can't pick his mother but using the power he can and finally he could manipulate gold to pick her up and leave.

'let's go now.' says Adam he moves his hand forward as liquid gold started to materialize, the liquid gold moves around her mother's body covering her and moving her he leaves. it was the middle of the night so there weren't any people roaming around. he went to a Graveyard, the only graveyard in his town. he walks in the cold wearing torn clothes and his mother's covered body hovering at his side.
The owner of Graveyard was an old man name, Albert Hall he was sitting in his cabin like always, reading a novel that's when he saw a small boy coming with something hovering around him. 'Who the...WHO'S THERE.' shouts Albert as picks up his torch and went out to see he saw Adam coming with a body covered in some bright clothes.
'Who are you kid and why do you...' Asked Albert but Adam cuts him off saying 'I want to have a funeral for my mother this is her.' hearing that Albert replied with concern 'kid I don't know what you did but you know their regulation...you can't just bury someone like this you need...' as Albert was saying that 2 bars of gold were thrown at his feet. 'now...can we have a funeral." says Adam as he walks inside the graveyard.
Seeing the gold bars suddenly everything changed Albert picks the gold up and ran towards a barn to get a coffin. 'f*ck I can't believe [smirks] two gold bars but how, should I call the police...no this would be stupid from me I should kill that kid that body also was covered in gold...oh my I will be rich...I will not have to do this stupid thing then. I will kill that kid.' says Albert.

behind Albert was Adam listening to everything Albert says he touches Albert from behind turning Albert's body into gold. 'Greed...I also have one but your greed caused your demise.' says Adam after turning Albert into gold he picks up the Coffin and takes it out to where his mother's body is as he puts down the casket then touches the casket turning it to the gold he uses the same 'liquid gold' and puts her mother into the coffin then buries her in the ground.
After he buries her he joins his hand and prays. 'I wasn't able to save you but I am happy at least your pain ended. I will come back one day to pick you up from here and bury you again in my empire...this world didn't come for your aid I will make this world pay and this world will become my "Olympus" That's my Greed no...our greed.'
