"Do you smoke?"
Wang Ye asked with a smile as he picked up a pack of cigarettes.
The percentage of Russian girls who smoke is not low; it's similar to that of boys or even higher.
However, both girls shook their heads in unison, cheerfully declining and saying they don't smoke.
The girl who, in Wang Ye's eyes, was the most beautiful curiously asked him,
"Are you a university student, or from some art troupe?"
Because in her mind, Wang Ye seemed to be of an age somewhere between university student and recent graduate, making it difficult for her to judge his exact age.
Wang Ye hesitated briefly. He didn't want to lie, but it also didn't seem appropriate to disclose his true identity outright.
So he vaguely responded, "I just graduated this year and started working."
He hadn't lied, merely avoided being too specific.
To the girls, though, it naturally seemed like Wang Ye must have graduated from an arts institute and was now working in a related field.
