No one mentioned the failure of today's Duma voting decision, because all the necessary discussions had already taken place privately.
Gavriil simply remarked that the Kremlin would soon make a second nomination and asked Wang Ye to urge the Duma to proceed with a voting meeting.
Wang Ye nodded in agreement, and that was that.
Among those present, Medvedev held the lowest position and had the least seniority, so he assumed the role of "waiter," staying busy serving tea and water to the other three.
By tacit understanding, Wang Ye and Medvedev did not appear overly familiar with each other here.
The two only chatted occasionally, just like before.
