The meal today took longer than usual, approximately an hour.

Seeing that time was almost up, Gavriil sent Wang Ye a cue from his eyes. Understanding immediately, Wang Ye finished his remaining food in a few bites, then stood up to leave.
Rossiyana and Gavriil also stood and said their goodbyes.
After thanking Mr. Puding for his hospitality, Wang Ye and Rossiyana followed Gavriil to his office to continue their chat over tea.
"You performed well today! Every time we discuss important matters, your performance always surprises me," Gavriil commented.
Wang Ye chuckled shyly and modestly replied, "This is just my duty. As the director of the Economic Committee, I can't just do nothing."
