The meeting ended, and Wang Ye had just stepped out when his phone began to explode with messages before he even had a chance to return to his office!
Clearly, many people had been watching today's meeting.
The first call came in from Khodorkovsky.
Khodorkovsky already knew the outcome before the meeting. Wang Ye had needed his cooperation for some of the actions he took, so he couldn't keep it from him.
Of course, there was no need to keep it from Khodorkovsky either.
Even though he knew the outcome beforehand, Khodorkovsky was still pleased once the dust had settled. He was also greatly... impressed with Wang Ye!
If he had been the one to carry out this action,
Khodorkovsky knew he would have probably ended up in a "lose-lose" situation at best!
The Ministry of Energy wouldn't be getting any advantages from him, and his proposal likely wouldn't pass either.
But when Wang Ye stepped in, it was a win-win situation!
