"Apologies everyone, Congressman Mikhail is currently occupied. Please take a seat, we'll notify you as soon as he's ready for you,"
Yelena greeted Yuri and his colleagues with a smile as she stepped out of the office.
Yuri and the others glanced at each other, swallowed nervously, and asked with an awkward smile, "Miss Assistant, when will the chairman be ready to meet with us?"
Yelena politely responded, "He didn't mention when. You're welcome to come back another day if you have urgent matters to attend to."
Yuri and others quickly waved their hands saying, "There's no rush! We're free this afternoon. We'll wait here for the chairman. Please inform us when he is finished."
After Yelena returned to the office and closed the door,
Expressions of bitter smiles spread across Yuri and his companions' faces.
They weren't fools and having been in leadership for so many years they certainly knew the chairman was using his busy schedule as an excuse to delay seeing them.
