Helped back to the apartment by Angelina and Nova, Wang Ye took a shower and washed his face with cold water before he finally sobered up a bit.
After changing into comfortable pajamas, he came to the living room.
Angelina, Natalia, and Nova were sitting there eating fruit and chatting.
When they saw Wang Ye come out, Angelina quickly stood up and asked with concern: "Misha, do you feel better, would you like some tea or something?"
Wang Ye laughed: "A cup of black tea would be nice, with plenty of sugar cubes and a slice of lemon."
Besides vodka, black tea is arguably the most popular beverage among the Russians.
Nova got up, freeing up the large single sofa for Wang Ye to sit down.
As Angelina was getting the black tea, Natalia curiously asked Wang Ye: "Misha, have you and Meshkov agreed to.... Invest ten billion US dollars in Crimea?"
Natalia lives in the same apartment as Angelina, so she knew about it early on.
But even now, she was still a little incredulous.
