"Let them know, we're not going to let this go," said Wang Ye harshly.
The motorcade fell into silence and soon returned to the security base.
Wang Ye allowed Kaja to rest while he, Xie Liaosha, Anton, and Androf headed to the meeting room.
Once the door was shut, the four of them sat down. Xie Liaosha recounted the events in San Francisco to Anton and Androf, who were unaware of many of the details.
Hearing the grim manner of Xie Erjin's death, Anton clenched his fist and pounded the table, generating a dull thud.
Androf remained calm, yet his eyebrows furrowed.
"What's the attitude of the police over there?" Androf asked.
Upon hearing this, Xie Liaosha's dissatisfaction soared. Angrily, he said: "I feel like they didn't investigate thoroughly at all. The nightclub's security guards clearly knew those black devils, yet they claimed not to know them when giving their statements. The police didn't even verify such obvious false statements."
This was understandable though.
