The next morning, after Wang Ye had breakfast and was planning to go to work at New Sun Market, he received a call from Khodorkovsky.
"Misha, what are you busy with now?"
Wang Ye responded with a smile, "I was just about to go to work, what's up, Uncle?"
"I heard from Ivan that the acquisition was successful, so I rushed back last night. Come over, let's talk." Khodorkovsky's tone was light and cheerful as if he was in a good mood.
Wang Ye did not refuse and said straightforwardly, "Okay, I'm coming now."
About twenty minutes later, two Mercedes Benzes stopped at the foot of the Yukos building. Khodorkovsky's secretary was already waiting at the entrance.
In Khodorkovsky's office at the top floor, the secretary served them steaming cups of coffee and then left, leaving only Wang Ye and Khodorkovsky in the room.
After a period of rest, Khodorkovsky looked much better.
His face was also rosier.
