On Monday morning, Angelina arrived in class on time, ready to start teaching.
Just as she stepped in, she was surprised to find Wang Ye sitting there.
For some time now, Wang Ye hadn't been coming to class, having called her the last time to say he was busy and needed some time off.
Well, this was just a foundation course, attendance was not essential, passing the final examination was all that mattered.
With Wang Ye's proficiency in Russian, passing the exam was, without doubt, a non-issue.
So, Wang Ye's lack of attendance was not a problem for Angelina.
"Misha, what brings you to class today?" she asked, smilingly.
Misha was a shortened form of "Mikhail", the Russian name Wang Ye had recently adopted, after all, he was set to interact a lot with Russians, so having a Russian name was pretty much necessary.
When choosing the name, he specifically called Angelina to consult her opinion. This was the name Angelina recommended.
