Donia didn't start explaining immediately, because it was a long story...
Instead, she pulled her dad, mom, and older sister into the room, planning to sit down to eat and talk. She had been busy with a big shopping trip today, and hadn't even had a decent lunch, so by now she was extremely hungry.
When she washed her hands and returned to the dining table, she found her dad, mom, and sister already sitting there, looking at her in unison.
This made Donia a bit uncomfortable, so she awkwardly laughed and said,
"Why aren't you guys eating?"
Her sister immediately responded, "How can we eat right now? We've all been waiting for your explanation!"
Her dad and mom nodded in agreement, affirming that she was right.
This was normal, as Donia's family was just an ordinary one, and could even be considered poor.
So, naturally, her parents would be curious when their daughter suddenly drove home in a brand-new luxury car and also bought several mink coats that looked expensive.
