To prevent a "tragedy" from happening, she felt she had to remind her good friend.
Donia was a bit displeased, pouting as she spoke:
"What are you talking about? I just see Misha as a friend, and I find his company rather pleasant.
Don't you feel it? Misha has a very charming quality about him that I have never experienced with anyone else before.
Can't a girl be good friends with a boy without something happening?"
Lily rolled her eyes and said irritably:
"How can there be any friendship between men and women? Maybe at first, they talk about being good friends or male besties, but in the end, doesn't it always end up with rolling in the sheets?
That kind of talk is just to fool those silly men."
Donia was at a loss for words because Lily had a point. Even though she said she wanted to be friends with Misha, deep down she harbored feelings for him and aspired for something more...
But what Lily said was just too... mercenary!
That was something Donia found hard to accept.
