Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: The Player Finally Reached Level 10 [Please Save]

"Ding! Congratulations to player Madman for the first kill of the Newbie Village BOSS, rewarded with 1,000 Gold Coins, 1,000 Reputation Points, and the Top Grade Tiger Head Helmet."

"Ding! Congratulations to player Madman for reaching Level 10 first, rewarded with 1,000 Gold Coins, 1,000 Reputation Points, and a Top Grade Black Golden Armor!"

"Ding! Team function has been enabled. In team mode, you can use secret messages within a certain distance!"

"Ding! Main City Vermilion Bird City has been unlocked!"

"Ding! Reincarnation feature is now available!"

"Ding! Congratulations to player Madman for becoming the first successful Reincarnation player in the Huaxia District, rewarded with the Top Grade Black Kill Blade, 1,000 Gold Coins, and 1,000 Reputation Points."

"Wow!" As this news spread, the entire Huaxia District went into an uproar!

The only difference was, players in other Newbie Villages were either in awe, dejectedly exclaiming they almost made it, or excited...

Meanwhile, players in Newbie Village #1 all wore expressions of dismay, gazing at the giant Rabbits outside their village with endless resentment!

If it weren't for those Rabbits, one of them would definitely be the first to reach Level 10, not this newcomer, Madman.

Especially Young Master Zeng, Fang Ling, Chen Chuanwen, and Yun Ying, they bet all their resources on this game. If it turned out to be fake, they'd have no pocket money for years.

They thought they had won, but they actually lost.

However, looking at their Attribute Points, they felt somewhat comforted.

If it weren't for those giant Rabbits, they might never have known that physical exercise could boost Attributes. Maybe there's a trade-off for everything...

Yi Zheng, hanging his head from a tree to stretch, mumbled out of boredom, "Bored... so bored..."

Suddenly hearing the system notification, he jumped up instantly.

Excitedly clenching his tiny fists, he looked around and snickered, "Finally, something fun! Brothers, gather up!"

In no time, a large group of Rabbits gathered under the big tree.

Zi Lu shouted, "Boss, why did you call us here?"

Yi Zheng initially wanted to say to prepare for a fight, but unsure of when the players would arrive, he tapped the blackboard and said, "Let's review our lessons!"

The Rabbits immediately lost interest.

Standing with hands on hips atop a large Rabbit's head, Yi Zheng yelled angrily, "All ears up! Kongzi said, 'Isn't it a pleasure to repeatedly practice what you have learned?'

'Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous!'"

The group of large Rabbits collectively turned to the top students, Zi Lu and Zi Gong.

Zi Lu translated immediately, "Elder Kongzi meant that practicing martial arts regularly after learning is also joyful." Zi Gong added, "The latter part means if you study his teachings without thinking, you'll be confused; thinking without practice will get you beaten up."

The Rabbits suddenly understood and sat down obediently.

Yi Zheng was speechless but too lazy to explain further, so he left it at that.

"Listen up! This lesson isn't just about the Analects. The main focus is, we need to prepare for battle!" The moment Yi Zheng mentioned fighting, the Rabbits' ears perked up like telephone poles, eyes gleaming like streetlights, staring intently at him.

It wasn't surprising. Ever since the wild monsters in the Newbie Village were wiped out, and that big Tiger disappeared, there wasn't anything outside the village for the Rabbits to spar with.

Players from Newbie Village #1 only came out when they were exhausted, offering no challenge at all. Stark naked and gasping for breath, they couldn't even counterattack. Killing them had lost any thrill or entertainment value. The Rabbits were long tired of it...

Suddenly hearing that a fight was coming, how could they not be excited?

Yi Zheng muttered, "These guys aren't Rabbits... they must be Spartans in Rabbit skins!"

After mumbling, Yi Zheng began explaining the upcoming war to the Rabbits.

"This world is vast, beyond our verdant fields and these forests. There's a much wider world outside, with more Newbie Villages like ours and more human players. At Level 10, they can leave the Newbie Village and enter the Main City. At that point..."

Yi Zheng rambled on, while the Rabbits below stared blankly, almost nodding off.

Yi Zheng was sure they only understood that somebody was coming to get beaten up and nothing else.

But it didn't matter. Each Rabbit had a snake hanging on them—these snakes were treacherous and cunning strategists.

The snake strategists listened, too.

After explaining the stakes, Yi Zheng slapped his pudgy paw on the blackboard and declared, "War is imminent. Everyone will train day and night starting today! Groundhog, keep an eye on the Newbie Village entrance. Report immediately if any players gather to attack!"

"Yes!" The Groundhogs responded loudly.

Thus, the pre-war mobilization meeting concluded, and the large Rabbits scurried off to Newbie Village #1 to mess with hapless players.

Meanwhile, in Vermilion Bird City, one of the main cities in Huaxia, a burly player emerged from the Reincarnation Hall, carrying a battle sword emitting a faint pink glow.

At the same time, two more came running. Seeing them, Madman smiled and stepped aside.

Shortly after...

"Ding! Congratulations to player Yu Qing for becoming the second successful Reincarnation player in the Huaxia District, rewarded with a Rare Fiery Flame Staff, 100 Gold Coins, and 100 Reputation Points."

"Ding! Congratulations to player Evil King for becoming the third successful Reincarnation player in the Huaxia District, rewarded with an Enhanced Gloom Dagger, 10 Gold Coins, and 10 Reputation Points."

"Ding! Reputation System has been enabled!"

Soon after, players discovered a new Reputation Ranking in their menu. Madman was first, Yu Qing second, and Evil King third on the list.

Madman's 3,000 Reputation Points stood far above Yu Qing's 100 and Evil King's meager 10 points.

The vast gap between the three left players amazed.

Yet, more than the seemingly useless Reputation System, Madman's equipment drew everyone's envy.

The three top-grade items, the Tiger Head Helmet, the Black Golden Armor, and the Black Kill Blade, set him leagues ahead of everyone else.

Even Yu Qing and Evil King couldn't compare to Madman.

Not even if they joined forces could they match Madman's prowess.

Watching Yu Qing and Evil King emerge from the Reincarnation Hall, Madman smiled, "Congratulations to both of you."

Yu Qing, a tall woman with an impressive chest and seductive charm, walked with a cat-like grace. Unlike Zhang Mei's icy demeanor, she exuded lazy feline allure from every bone and strand of hair.
