Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Fat Rabbit Called a Chicken [Please Collect]

Thirty thousand rabbits were rushing back and forth. After a few rounds, the leading rabbit suddenly raised a carrot, and all the rabbits stopped.

Yi Zheng looked at the big, panting rabbits, then checked his own attribute bar, there hadn't been any changes at all.

"Running ten kilometers didn't increase a single attribute? This is ridiculous. No way, let's go again!"

Yi Zheng refused to give up and continued to lead the rabbits in a wild run.

The Chicken Boss shook his head, "A bunch of dumb rabbits!"

One day, two days, three days...

For ten consecutive days, the Chicken Boss would get up on time. However, he no longer crowed, because those damned rabbits woke up earlier than him. The rumble of their collective running was louder than his crowing.

So now, he woke up to the sound of rabbit footsteps every day.

Bored out of his mind, he watched the dumb rabbits sprint across the grassland daily.

"It's been ten days, and our attributes haven't moved at all! Are our attributes locked or something? Are we destined to remain useless at level one, to be pummeled by everyone? I refuse to accept this!" Yi Zheng wailed.

And just then...

"Ding! Congratulations on completing a ten-kilometer run daily for ten consecutive days, Constitution +1."

"Ding! Congratulations, all rabbits' Constitution +1. Your leadership is exceptional, Constitution +1, Spiritual Power +1."

Yi Zheng was stunned, then quickly opened his attribute panel. Sure enough, his Constitution and Spiritual Power both increased by one. He laughed, using one hand to support the carrot on the ground, and looked up, laughing heartily!

His idea was correct. Although the level was locked, attributes could be improved through training!

He hadn't expected that as a Boss, all the improvements in overall rabbit strength would also benefit him.

Laughter, wild laughter!

The Chicken Boss looked at Yi Zheng laughing crazily and shook his head, muttering, "Great, they were just dumb before, now they've gone insane."

At that moment, Yi Zheng began looking forward to the next year. Watching the sun setting, he couldn't help but shout, "This time, no one will escape the Newbie Village!"

"Children, let's do some push-ups together!"

Yi Zheng dropped to the ground directly, and all the rabbits followed suit.

But Yi Zheng quickly realized how natural it felt to lie down. Then he remembered that this was practically standing for them, after all, they all had four legs.

Yi Zheng didn't care, he kneeled down and squatted before pushing up again...Then he got a bit confused, was this a push-up or a squat?

Until Yi Zheng angled his hind legs backward, he finally found the right feeling—this was a push-up!

Although the thirty thousand rabbits were foolish, they obediently followed the Boss's commands.

Whatever Yi Zheng did, they did too.

Yi Zheng did a thousand push-ups, and they followed with a thousand. From dark until dawn, many rabbits were utterly exhausted but immediately got back up, gritting their teeth and persevering.

However, Yi Zheng didn't have any intention of stopping and continued to lead everyone on a run.

Ten days later...

"Ding! Congratulations on completing a thousand push-ups and one hundred kilometers daily for ten consecutive days, Power +1, Constitution +1."

"Ding! Congratulations, all rabbits' Power +1, Constitution +1. Your leadership is extraordinary, Power +1, Constitution +1, Spiritual Power +2."

Yi Zheng laughed. Indeed, different training methods over ten days could simultaneously yield more attributes!

Just as Yi Zheng was about to continue training, he noticed that the little rabbits were lying on the ground, exhausted, frothing at the mouth.

Some even turned into white light and dispersed right there—it was a respawn.

But immediately, the white light flashed, and they reappeared, full of energy.

He couldn't see the rabbits' attribute panels, but Yi Zheng noticed that the arms of the reborn rabbits were visibly stronger, meaning that their improved power was retained even after death and respawn!

Yi Zheng laughed; he understood!

A thousand push-ups were the limit for these little rabbits—surpassing a thousand would increase power by one point.

Ten kilometers of sprinting was also their limit—reaching ten kilometers would increase constitution by one point.

Moreover, death would not reset the rabbits' attributes but would remove all negative effects and restore all states!

"Isn't this just a bug?!"

Yi Zheng laughed, holding the large carrot, looking up, and laughing loudly, "Master Rabbit is going to rise! Wahahahaha..."

Then, raising an eyebrow, Yi Zheng looked evilly at the pitiful, naïve little rabbits, "Add two thousand sit-ups!"

Less than two thousand, after a hundred sit-ups, many rabbits turned into white light and died.

However, they soon resurrected full of life and followed Yi Zheng to do sit-ups again...

In the distance, the large Chicken Boss fell into deep thought while watching this scene.

He tried lying down and found that the motion was too difficult for a chicken, so he gave up.

"A bunch of dumb rabbits." The large Chicken Boss shook his head and returned to his coop, while the other chickens either banged their heads against stones, chased stones around, or jumped into the river only to sink...

...

Two thousand sit-ups were also a significant burden for the rabbits.

Not to mention, adding ten kilometers of running and a thousand push-ups?

So, the prairie saw a magical scene emerging: a group of rabbits running, with some turning into white light midway;

A group of rabbits lying on the ground, doing a few push-ups and turning into white light;

A group of rabbits exposing their bellies, doing a few sit-ups and turning into white light...

For a while, the white light became the most beautiful and unique scenery on the prairie.

But the good thing was, ten days later...

"Ding! Congratulations on completing a thousand sit-ups, a thousand push-ups, and ten kilometers of running daily for ten consecutive days, Power +1, Agility +1, Constitution +1."

"Ding! Congratulations, all rabbits' Power +1, Agility +1, Constitution +1. Your leadership is exceptional, Power +1, Agility +1, Spiritual Power +1."

Looking at the rewards, Yi Zheng felt all his efforts had paid off.

But he was also a bit tired, not physically, but mentally exhausted from the repetitive motions.

However, thinking about being killed three million times before, recalling the overwhelming giant foot and wooden sticks, a fiery rage burned within him.

"Can't stop, keep going!"

Yi Zheng yelled, and then led the rabbits to stand up and start doing jumping jacks.

After a thousand jumping jacks, Yi Zheng suddenly realized something. While the other rabbits got exhausted, why was he always full of energy?

"Why don't I get tired?"

Then Yi Zheng discovered he didn't seem to have a stamina bar!

Meaning, his stamina was infinite!

Thinking about the games he had played, no Boss ever had stamina limits—they always fought until players defeated them.

"Is it possible that my stamina is unlimited?" Yi Zheng had a bold guess.

He glanced at the vast prairie, littered with lying rabbits!

Yi Zheng got excited. His biggest worry was having a stamina limit and getting exhausted to death.

If he did get exhausted and died, who knew if the Boss's attributes would reset?

But, since his stamina had no limit, he could train endlessly. So, he shouted, "Children, did you learn the long run, push-ups, sit-ups, and jumping jacks?"

The rabbits, though foolish, had done it so many times they nodded in unison.

Yi Zheng shouted, "Starting now, take turns!"

Rumble...

The little rabbits followed Yi Zheng, resuming their wild run.

From that day on, the dumb chickens in the chicken district found their greatest joy standing at the border, watching the rabbits led by the big rabbit—running, doing sit-ups, push-ups, and jumping jacks, then dying and being resurrected.

Now that four main attributes had corresponding ways to enhance, Yi Zheng didn't add new training items.

But soon, Yi Zheng noticed a problem: once the rabbits increased an attribute by ten points through a fixed method, the same method became ineffective for further improvement!

This wouldn't do. Ten attribute points could make them fearsome to level 1 players but weren't enough!

"Looks like I need to change the training method, but what should I switch to?"

Just then, Yi Zheng saw the chickens peeking and watching the fun from a distance, and he got an idea!

...

In the next moment!

"Hey! You there, chicken, where's your boss?"

Yi Zheng pointed at a dumb chicken and asked.

The chicken's intelligence was clearly low. It tilted its head, eyes glazed, before understanding Yi Zheng's question and running back to find its boss.

In the distant level 2 Snake District, a group of venomous snakes gathered, stretching and watching from afar...

"That rabbit just called for a chicken," the two-meter-long Snake Boss murmured thoughtfully.

Soon, a magnificent rooster strutted out.

"He really called for a chicken, and it's a rooster! Is he a she-rabbit?" Snake Boss continued to ponder.

...

The Rooster Boss jumped onto a stone, looking down, and asked, "You called?"

Yi Zheng shoved the large carrot into the ground and used a skill to toss another carrot, holding it in his mouth. Leaning on the giant carrot, he said coolly, "I want to borrow some chickens."

"Borrow chickens?" The Rooster Boss seemed confused.

Yi Zheng said, "Yes, borrow chickens. Are you lending or not?"

The Rooster Boss glanced at his dumb chickens and asked, "You actually want to borrow some...chickens?"

Yi Zheng said, "Yes, borrow chickens. Will you lend them or not?"

The Rooster Boss rolled his eyes, "I could really use those things myself, no way I'm lending them to you. But borrowing chickens..."

"What about it?" Yi Zheng asked.

The Rooster Boss shook his head, "No lending!"

"Really not lending?" Yi Zheng asked.

The Rooster Boss firmly nodded, "No lending! Your rabbits are dumb, and if they make my chickens dumb, what then?"

Yi Zheng glanced at the chickens drowning themselves and nodded, "They're quite smart, I see. Fine, no lending then."

"Fat rabbit, smart choice," the Rooster Boss proudly raised his head.

But the words "fat rabbit" made Yi Zheng stop.

Slowly, he turned back to the Rooster Boss, "What did you just call me?"

"Fat rab...bit...ah!"
