"Dad, um, I got it."
Inside the AMG.
Shi Qianxi hung up the phone.
"Is Director Shi urging you to come back?"
Jiang Chen, who had eaten his fill, unbuckled his seatbelt and suggested considerately, "Then you don't need to drop me off."
He pushed the door, only to find it wouldn't budge.
It was obviously locked.
"Thinking of running away after the meal? That's not very proper, is it?"
Jiang Chen turned his head, a wry smile on his face.
If he remembered correctly, it seemed that he was the one who paid the bill just now.
"Aren't you supposed to be going back?"
"Who said I was going back? My dad just called to ask about some company matters, that's all."
Shi Qianxi opened her purse, pulling out two tickets that looked like theater passes.
"East Sea Music Theater has a performance tonight, my company gave me two tickets."
She mentioned it offhandedly, not saying it outright, but the implication was obvious even to a fool.
