Jiang Chen was about to enter but seemed to remember something. Ignoring the open elevator, he turned around and walked out of the building to the nearby Starbucks and bought a cup of coffee.

He carried the coffee and headed back upstairs.
"She's back, inside."
Jiang Chen nodded and pushed the door to enter.
This was an office specially cleared out by Duan Zhongxin, not large, but the decor was ingenious.
"What did you go out for?"
Shi Qianxi was holding a Montblanc pen, not looking up, still busy annotating something.
"Went downstairs for a bite."
Jiang Chen walked over and placed the coffee he was holding on the desk.
"Brought you a cup of coffee."
Shi Qianxi was serious about her work, focused and undistracted. After a while, she finally put down her pen.
