Greentech Pier.
Gazing out, cargo ships brimming with containers were moored at the edge of the sea, waiting to set sail.
The wind howled, and the waves surged.
The rolling tide continuously lashed against the ships' hulls.
Approaching ten o'clock at night, there were still workers unloading cargo.
"Miss, I'm about to depart."
On the deck of a cargo ship, a man leaned on the railing, holding a phone in one hand and pressing down the brim of his cap with the other.
The waves tumbled.
It was certain that if he set out to sea, it would be another tumultuous and perilous journey.
Yet in his eyes, there was a fill of excitement and longing.
"Where's Meiko?"
"I don't know, she hasn't contacted me since we parted, and I can't reach her either."
The man's tone was natural, and amidst the roaring sea breeze, not the slightest bit of oddity could be discerned.
