The Paradise Bird's eavesdropping terminal was hidden in the bone near her ear, tucked within her short hair.
It was known as an electronic tattoo, a highly simplified circuit board.
It could be permanently tattooed on the skin, or it could act as a sticker and be directly applied to the surface of the body.
The electronic tattoo used by Paradise Bird was made by herself with equipment. Its surface was made as transparent as possible, attached to the bone, it could transmit sound waves directly to the auditory nerve through bone conduction.
Just like the sound of tapping teeth is very soft, but can also be heard clearly.
And listening in through bone conduction meant that even very soft sounds could be heard clearly… while also avoiding being overheard by others.
Even as she continued to move forward with others, Paradise Bird was distracted, listening to the voice on the other end.
Her pupils suddenly contracted, and she paused in place for a moment, lost in thought.
