Russell shook his head.
For no apparent reason, he now had a long ponytail, and a sense of added weight materialized at the back of his head. It took him a moment to adjust.
Fortunately, he was in the restroom. He raised his head and could see his current self in the mirror.
It was the man who had appeared in Russell's "frame" before.
He looked to be in his late twenties, his smile giving off a warm and friendly vibe, yet he wasn't particularly scary even with a stern expression. In terms of temperament, he didn't resemble a singer... but more like a pastry chef. He had the kind of air that wouldn't feel out of place when decorating cakes with a piping bag.
"Is this... what Blue Song Sparrow once looked like?"
Russell murmured.
When Russell spoke, he noticed his voice had become deep and magnetic—and he now had a strong desire and confidence to "sing."
And Russell was very certain that he was tone-deaf and had no interest in singing whatsoever.
