Hundred Peaks Sect selected disciples from a hundred peaks, and generally, it wasn't just about waiting until the designated time to decide whom to choose. Everyone had their targets set in advance.
Especially many of the lower-ranked peaks, their initial targets were not those geniuses, since the chances of those geniuses joining their peaks were far too slim.
However, that did not mean they wouldn't seek out those geniuses.
Each year, there would always be one or two geniuses who would join some of the lower-ranked peaks. After all, everyone is human and has their own thoughts.
Some people believed that no matter what, they had to go to the strongest peak! They were the most talented, and other peaks were not worthy of them.
Others would choose the peak that best suited themselves.
