" I could sense it, sister, I could sense an overbearing presence in the Aeaea island. " said a Valkyrie as she comes with a battalion of her sisters.
The Valkyries are basically Gifted Humans who were given godhood by the gods, the Diviners. Just like them, they are impervious to the Universal Reboot effects on their previous human existence.
The Valkyrie Concept was first invented by Odin with his wife Frigg or Freya becoming the Valkyries' godmother. But despite them being Freya's trained disciples, Odin is the one who fully commands them for he is the one who made them reach their godhood.
Thus, why Ragna Twelve often describes them as either 'Odin's Girls' or 'Odin's Angels'*, for despite being Valkyrie are favored as the highest prestige a mortal woman could ever hold, but in particular, they're basically the Diviners (especially the Asgardian's) SPGs (Sales Promotion Girls) but with Divine Powers and Weapons.
By the way, as this Divine SPG battalion is getting near the island.
" Skree! " a voice comes from the skies above them, a black shadowy creature dives in from the sky above them, gobbling up some of the Valkyries.
"We've been attacked! "
" Open blasts! " the Valkyries begin to release their Divine Blasts of power to attack that very monster.
" What is that sis-akhh! "
" Monsters, do not know where they were summoned from, but this one is big and fast as if the sky is its playground. " the Valkyrie says as she tries to shoot the black shadowy creature, it hides in the clouds, turning it dark while hunting the incoming Valkyries.
" Sister, what should we do!? "
" Blast it, use all of your Divine Powers to wipe that thing out of the skies! "
" Don't forget that we must arrive to check on that island ASAP, or else the prisoner there would do her machinations over us again! "
" Fire without mercy! " the Valkyrie sister said, telling her sisters to not hold back for no monster should ever try to disrupt their duties.

They all shoot the skies, and they decided to just rain the skies with blasts in order to hurt that thing who hunts them as it hides behind the clouds.
" Shoot it, shoot it! " the Valkyries tell their sisters to shoot, they really were surprised by the Black Shadowy monster that ambushed them out of nowhere.
But, after many times of them shooting the skies, they still are killed, one by one, by the Black Shadowy monster.
" COME OUT, MONSTER! "
" SHOW YOURSELF! " the Valkyries call for it but it still ambushed them in the shadows of the dark clouds.
It hunts them, using the clouds as its camouflage, to give fear the Valkyries, killing them one by one while slowly making them stressed.
" Sister, we should retreat, we- "
" Do not fret, our master had ordered us with this task! "
" We must finish it, even if it costs our lives. " said the Valkyrie trying to reassure the afraid sister, her 'reassurance' almost succeed in calming her fellow sister Valkyrie there, while the two with the others in their hundreds of numbers began to circle each other up, in order to create a great defense between all of them.
" Valkyries, use [Divine Barrier]! "

" We are safe for now, the [Divine Barrier] will protect us from that monster. " said the Valkyries, they thought by using the combined barrier they created, they are safe.
But in reality...
( Unknownst to them, from above, a large pair of eyes are looking down upon them as its face are covered by the shadows of the cloud that hides the body. )

[ Minutes After the First Onslaught ]
Not only the Valkyries who were sent to the Island, aside from them, there are some Sea Nymphs Diviners who were also sent to the said location via sea, they swim to go there as they had to their mission, given by their superiors.
" Did someone breach the Aeaea Island? Did the prisoner there escape? "
" I don't know... " said the Sea Nymph who led the pack.
" But lord Poseidon said that the Enchantress must be checked immediately while he is having a meeting with the Asgardian Allfather. "
" That's why he wanted us to deal with it, after all, we Nymphs are lower caste, the workers of the Diviners race. "
" Thus, it is our duty to fulfill his wishes... "
" This is our fate, after all, it's- "
" Hmm...? " the Sea Nymph leader looks back and sees at his pack, all of them are gone suddenly without his notice.
" What the... " The Sea Nymph's leader began to feel fear, for he is alone inside the wide blue sea.
" Oh damn... " the Sea Nymph said as a large black shadowy tentacle began to appear behind him.

He then looks behind him and screamed.

" Dammit, I told them not to be that ferocious! " I said as I receive the message from the System.

" Great, now I have to resurrect them and make amends to them, those gigantic black shadow beasts! " Ragna commented on how his summons dealt with the job earlier.
The fact is, he only told them to just 'abduct' them, not to kill them, but it seems the Black Shadows he releases are too ferocious to even do the order and they just return to their primal ferocious minds as they just butcher those who were sent to the Island.
As he thinks about what his Black Shadows had done, Circe then comes into the chamber after bringing some drinks.
" I smell blood far from here... " she says to Ragna while drinking some bottles of her drink.
" Was it your doing? " she asked.
" Yeah, my shadows overdid it! "
" And now I have to make amends to those I've killed through them, I need to resurrect them as compensation... " Ragna tells Circe.
"Resurrect them? Do you mean they will become your 'shadows'? " Circe asks.
" Well yes, of course. " Ragna says as he then wakes from his chair, he was reading some books that Circe had in this chamber of hers.
"( To think her 'Recess Chamber' would contain so many books of old, books that give me more knowledge about things... )"
"( Not to mention, this is not her 'Library' yet... )" Ragna says to himself.
"( I wonder how much 'knowledge' she stored there. )" Ragna thinks while asking if he could have some of Circe's meal.
" Of course you can, after all learning too could cost so much energy. " Circe shares it with Ragna as Ragna look closely upon it, he analyzes it with the help of the System.

"( Hope so... )" Ragna says as he ate and drank his share.
"( I better eat before learning more though, after all, there are some that even Ragna 69 couldn't understand. )" Ragna says, remembering that 69 is once her apprentice in the 69th Timeline alongside his Carla and also an Alchemist/ Mage.
