The spiritual subject is the most unpopular topic after so many Timelines, many tried to learn it and many failed. Thus making it only to be learned and searched by the few who are desperate to learn.
The Diviners, themselves had made cut off the people's sense of spirituality in this looped universe, for it technically makes death forgettable.
A good purpose, but it actually creates another problem that the Diviners never try to disclose or try to suppress the need of dealing with it due to their desire for immortality.
The Spirits,... either Tainted Spirits or Cursed Spirits. These things were created from the dead mortals and monsters that died in battle.
The reason why they become this is that their spirit is filled with sin for their constant battle, their tainted soul plus the energy residue from the Gift Core inside their corpse plus the blood of the demonic monsters left in their body which corrupts the soul begin to assimilate and emerge as a physical spiritual manifestation of the accursed dead. Hence why they were called the Tainted Spirits.
" So you're telling me that the 'Black Spirit' Ragna Current is learning will prevent him from becoming this in the future? " Ragna Twelve asks.
" Of course, this Spiritual Mode is the most powerful Spiritual Defense against these Tainted Spirits, especially... " Ragna 69 was interrupted as the Tainted Spirits begin to come out from their monstrous corpse, they're are the Tainted Spirits, manifested from the monsters Ragna had killed.

Ragna Twelve helps them, using his powers to fend off those spirits while making sure Ragna Current's meditation is complete.
" I see how ironic things had become. " Ragna Twelve says.
" I remember these things were not that powerful back in my Timeline, I remember they were not as powerful as a mere Lycan, back then. " Twelve says.
" But over time, in the Rebooted Timeline that becomes the background of the Diviners vs Deviants, these things begin to grow large in number, in power too even. " Ragna Twelve recounts things as he and the others deal with them.
" I believe the [Abyss Tower] could also be the cause... " Ragna 69 adds.
" That very Tower is the greatest amount of Tainted Energies injected into our very realm. Its very energy must've spread in some way, manipulating many aspects of life and death, even affecting the appearing Dungeon Gates in these few months! " Ragna 69 explains the things he sees on the news.
" Yeah, the Divine Barrier couldn't even hold it, for I heard the news too that the Tower's energy had affected us underground as the Demonic Energy spread from its bottom! " Ragna 100 tells them.
" Guess things will shift back into those exorcism Timelines then..., how nostalgic. " Ragna 100 says to them, remembering his Timeline where most of its problems are around Spiritual Matters.
" Agreed, it seems in this Timeline, things had already become a Karma to the Divine... " Ragna 69 says, using his magic to destroy more Spirits.
" We must use this opportunity, despite the Divine Karma also heavily affecting the mortals in their life. "
" But still... " Ragna 69 says as he kills another Tainted Spirit.
" The Diviners must pay for all of the problems they shared with us for Timelines... "
" With their deaths, including the Deviants... "
" All of this bullshit will end! " Ragna 69 says for he uses [ Spirit Wind Magic: Zephyr Wind Strike ].
He kills so many of them, for he and Ragna 100 begins to fight more of the incoming waves of Tainted Spirits, but at that moment, Ragna Twelve felt something different from Ragna Current for he is applying something to himself during his meditation.
" Let him, Twelve! " Ragna 69 tells Twelve.
" He is trying to also combine Mana with the other two earlier. "
" The Mana is the next step in harmonizing the two energies since the Mana is basically an energy that comes from Nature itself, the place where the spiritual is connected with the physical. "
" Without it, the assimilation between Aether and Ki won't be sufficient, it needs something that could glue them with each other. "
As he says that, Ragna Current begins harmonizing his Mana into both powers in his meditation, using every focus he has, and finally gives him a great result.

Ragna feels his body, spirit, and mind are in harmony, for the first time he can focus on one thing, not over-distracted by visions from his [Twelve Eye of Time]. now in rehab, but also from his usual worries about things for he can think things more clearly.

As they get closer, something happened to those Spirits as they suddenly get zapped by Ragna's own harmonized energy, still developing but the signs are getting known.

The Black Spirit Force Energy began to come out from Ragna's energy and spiritually destroy those Tainted Spirits who dares approach him.

In the meantime, the Black Spirit he unleashed began to attack the monsters in a more controllable way if the one before is like a raging tornado that he couldn't hold. Right now, the Black Spirit acts more like a wind arrow that shoots every desirable target while avoiding the allies which the Black Spirit does as it wipes out the Tainted Spirits in this very place.
