Chapter 101 - Kordri Thyesses - Interest II

"What is your true strength Hakari?" Zamir asked with a heavy grimace and all stood still as we could feel his heavy aura spread through the room.

This was something that needed to be known right now. Talia has already shocked us by being at the peak of Heavenly Transformation, it even seemed that she could break through to the Realm of Dao anytime.

Hakari was even worse. Even till now, we all thought he was still at the peak of Arcana Condensation but it is now clear as day that our information is outdated. For all, we know this monster could be a peak Dao Emperor!

Hakari stood in the same spot with a calm smile for who knows how long until he finally moved and sat back in the chair he was in before he first left, "Does it even matter? What you all should be worrying about is what Alucard is doing behind the scenes right now." Hakari said.

"But as for my real strength...I guess I'll give you guys a freebie so you all can stop sweating." He smiled, pointing out the fact that we were all tense and on edge about this boy's answer, "I'm not in the Realm of Dao."

Sighs of relief were heard throughout the conference room. Mine included. It would be really bad if someone were in the Realm of Dao at such a young age, we would have to suppress and hide them at all costs, or else the higher-tier civilizations would snatch them from us.

"But meeting Nen as soon as I did was surprising. It looks like the laws of fate are drawing us to meet each other." Hakari said as he continued looking at the live feeds of chaos ensuing in the academy, "A shame. I really want to kill him." He sighed.

All of us shivered at his response. I swear, only monsters from this damn family can say things like that and not be bothered by the consequences.

Nen's master was a powerful expert from the Astral Plane. We don't even know his name as when he first arrived the man said that we ants weren't qualified to be in his presence let alone know his name. Before anybody could even land a hit on that damn bastard we all felt that we had suffered physical injuries to our souls, we didn't even sense them until he smiled and snapped his fingers.

Cold sweat covered my back as I thought back about that day. We were humiliated and berated, it was then that we remembered that there is always someone stronger, always someone above us. I've always thought if there was really a true peak if what we have been striving for is nothing but an illusion created by our own desires and greed.

I mean the stronger we get and the closer we reach the peak, the more we realize just how strong those at the peak really are. That even though we have reached this level of strength we are still ants in front of the ones who are really at the top and it's not even close.

"You would really kill Nen and draw the ire of his master?" Zamir asked mockingly, "You are not that bold Hakari. The Asuran Prince known for his schemes and mystery would actually do something that sloppy and bold."

Hakari turned and looked at Zamir as he sighed and shook his head, "If you know all of that, then you should know that if I can say that I'll do something that bold then there is obviously something going on behind the scenes." He said then he leaned back in his chair and looked at the ceiling, "You as a Duke should know that already. How many schemes have you made behind the scenes? How many of the people in this room have you plotted against?"

Zamir's body trembled in shock from the pressure Hakari was applying but Hakari, who could clearly sense the Duke's distress but acted oblivious to it, "How many unsolved losses have the people in this room suffered that you are responsible for Zamir?" he said and we all now looked at Zamir with killing intent.

But before we could question this bastard Hakari settled down the situation again, "But I could be wrong. What could I know, I'm just a child after all. As for you questioning my confidence in killing Nen, I've met his master personally and deeply respect him. That respect is the reason why Nen still breathes but if he forces my hand I can kill him without repercussions." Hakari stated confidently.

"But I guess that's enough about me for now what you all should be doing is looking at the screen." Hakari drew all out attention and we couldn't believe what we were seeing, "Looks like things are about to get fun." Hakari laughed

We didn't even acknowledge what this bastard just said. What we saw on the screen was just too much, it was insulting and infuriating. I felt my blood boil and wrath that could only be seen from the demons and devils of the Hells burst in my heart as my dark aura flooded the entire conference room.

"THAT FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT" Everyone screamed, except for Treysin and Kirean who looked at all of this with smiles on their faces. I swear, does anyone from this fucking family suffer a loss?

If it wasn't for that damn contract I would've gone there by now and committed a massacre.

"You gonna stay and watch this?" Treysin asked with a smile and he looked at his nephew.

"And miss the joy of all this shit that is about to go down? I would never" Hakari responded with a smile as he stood up from his chair.

"I have to give the man some credit. This is a great plan, even I was fooled. It's a shame that it is all pointless. There's no way that 'they' will let this happen, especially since 'they' are physically here." Hakari mumbled under his breath, but with our cultivation how could we not hear him?

"Who is here Hakari?" Mizuki asked with a scowl on her face as none of us dared move. There's a reason why she was the real ruler of the Federation.

Hakari completely ignored the baleful aura and shrugged, "I can't tell you. But what I will say is that you will meet them soon enough and they are the reason that Alucard scrambled the way he did." He said and all out faces went pale, "I think I've rested long enough. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a lot of future killing to do. Plese enjoy the show while you still can though. Things are about to get dark and fucked up real fast." He said and then vanished into a sea of nodes.
